Cancellation, Deposit & Refund Policy
Thank you for choosing The Luxurious Villa. Please read our cancellation, deposit, and refund policy carefully before making a reservation.
1. Booking Confirmation
To secure and reserve your preferred date, a refundable security deposit of *RM1,000* is required upon confirmation of booking.
Please note that the security deposit is *separate from the villa rental fee* and serves as a security bond during your stay.
The remaining rental balance must be paid in full at least *14 days before the check-in date*.

2. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Within 30 Days Before Check-In
Reservations cannot be cancelled, modified, or rescheduled within *30 days of the scheduled check-in date*.
In the event of cancellation within this period, *100% of the deposit paid will be forfeited and is non-refundable*.
Cancellation More Than 30 Days Before Check-In
If a guest cancels the reservation more than *30 days before the check-in date* after the deposit has been paid, a *processing fee equivalent to 50% of the deposit amount* will be charged.
The remaining eligible balance will be refunded to the original payment method used during booking.

3. Booking Date Changes
Guests may request a change of booking date after payment of the deposit.
Approval of any date change is subject to:
* Availability of the requested new date;
* Management approval; and
* Payment of a processing fee equal to *10% of the total rental amount*.
The Luxurious Villa reserves the right to decline date change requests if the requested dates are unavailable.

4. Security Deposit Refund
The RM1,000 security deposit will be retained by management throughout the duration of the stay.
Following check-out, the villa will be inspected for:
* Property damage;
* Missing items;
* Excessive cleaning requirements; or
* Any breach of house rules.
If the property is returned in satisfactory condition and no charges are incurred, the security deposit will be refunded in full.
Refund Method
Refunds will be issued to the *original payment method* used during the booking whenever possible.
Refund Processing Time
Approved security deposit refunds will be processed within *2–3 working days after check-out and completion of inspection*.
The actual time for funds to appear in the guest's account may vary depending on the bank, card issuer, or payment provider.

5. Management Rights
The Luxurious Villa reserves the right to deduct reasonable amounts from the security deposit to cover:
* Damage to property or furnishings;
* Missing items;
* Additional cleaning costs; or
* Any losses resulting from violation of the villa's terms and conditions.
Any deductions will be communicated to the guest together with supporting information where applicable.
